Domestic Violence Arrest
(Etowah County, Alabama) A Gadsden man has been arrested in connection to domestic violence, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Randall Brian Parker, 48, of Gadsden, was arrested and charged with one count of domestic violence by strangulation, one count of first degree unlawful imprisonment and one count of interference with a domestic violence emergency call, all are felonies,” investigator Brandi Fuller said.
Parker allegedly beat the female victim in the head and covered her mouth and nose so she was unable to breath. The victim reported that Parker threatened to kill her and himself, would not allow her to leave and took her phone from her. The abuse occurred for a period of approximately six hours.
When the victim escaped she took her phone, hid inside a vehicle and called 9-1-1. Parker was arrested on scene at a residence on Croft Ferry Road in the Ball Play community.
Parker was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and is being held on a $5,000 cash bond.
