(Etowah County, Alabama) A Boaz woman is in custody in connection to burglary, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Cesily Dawn Elledge, 24, Boaz, is charged with one count of third degree burglary and one count of first degree theft of property, both are felonies,” investigator Adam Chapman said.
Elledge allegedly went to a residence, located on Nelson Williams Road, and stole various items from a garage/shop that included a push lawn mower, weed eater, two alternators, valve covers, air compressor, shop fan and a vehicle lift kit. She stated to investigator Chapman that she traded some of the items for drugs, while other items were pawned. All of the items listed have been recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
Elledge is currently being held in the Marshall County jail for unrelated charges. She will be brought to the Etowah County Detention Center at a later date on $7,500 bond.
