(Etowah County, Alabama) A Gadsden man has been arrested in connection to a burglary, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Frank Brogan, 50, of Gadsden, was arrested on Wednesday, May 29, and charged with one count of third degree burglary and one count of second degree theft of property, both are felonies,” states Investigator Josh Argo.
Brogan allegedly broke into a residence on Lay Springs Road, Gadsden. He admitted he was looking for prescription medications.
Investigator Argo received a phone call from a neighbor stating the suspicious activity at the Lay Springs Road residence.
“This investigation was brought to a close quickly due to the watchful eye of concern neighbors,” says Sheriff Entrekin.
Investigator Argo continues, “I am grateful and appreciative that neighbors in this community are looking out for each other.”
Brogan was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and is being detained on $5,000 bond.
