(Etowah County, Alabama) An Attalla man has been arrested and charged in connection with a burglary in the Carlisle community, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Dillon Ray Oliver, 19, of Attalla, was arrested on Tuesday, May 28, and charged with one count of third degree burglary, one count of first degree theft of property and one count of second degree theft of property, all are felonies” states Investigator Josh Morgan. “Oliver is also charged with resisting arrest, which is a misdemeanor.”
Oliver was caught leaving a residence on Walters Road after a neighbor called law enforcement officers telling them of the suspicious activity. When investigators arrived on scene, Oliver was found to be in possession of a stolen 12-gauge shot gun, jewelry, two laptop computers and clothing items.
He is currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $10,500 bond.
