“Jennifer Ann Taylor, 38, of Gadsden, was arrested this morning, and is charged with one count of identity theft and one count of computer tampering, both are Class C felonies,” says Investigator Josh Morgan.
A search warrant was executed in the Etowah County Courthouse personnel office at approximately 11:00 a.m. today. Information regarding the criminal activity was brought to the attention of the Sheriff’s Office two weeks ago.
Taylor allegedly used the victim’s identity to open various accounts.

Taylor is currently detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.
