DRUG ARREST

(Etowah County, Alabama)  Four individuals have been arrested with drug charges in Etowah County, according to Sheriff Jonathon Horton. 

Jeffery Montez Jackson (31) of Gadsden, Alabama is charged with two counts of Drug Trafficking (Methamphetamine), one count of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), and one count of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance (Heroin).

Trevor Scott Sims (29) of Gadsden, Al is charged with one count of Trafficking Dangerous Drugs (Synthetic Marijuana).

Cierra Janee Jackson (24) of Gadsden, Al is charged with one count of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance (Synthetic Marijuana) and one count of Unlawful Possession of Salvia Felony.

Suzetta Ann Schrimsher (42) of Gadsden, Al is charge with one count of Unlawful Possession of Salvia Misdemeanor.   

On July 20, 2022 Agents with the Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit and the Etowah County Joint Special Operation Group executed search warrants at 1508 Hill Avenue and 1509 Hill Avenue Gadsden, Al 35904.  As a result of the operation a large quantity of Synthetic Marijuana was recovered as well as a stolen handgun. 

The search warrant followed an investigation based on drug sales from the residences. 

Jeffery Montez Jackson was arrested and is being held in the Etowah Detention Center on a $150,000.00 cash bond.

Cierra Janee Jackson was arrested and is being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on a $50,000.00 property bond.

Trevor Scott Sims was arrested and is being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on a $50,000.00 cash bond.

Suzetta Ann Schrimsher was arrested and is being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on a $1,000.00 property bond.

The Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit, Etowah County Sheriff's Office, Gadsden Police Department, and the FBI North Alabama Criminal Enterprise Task Force participated in the case.

This case is  ongoing and there could be additional charges and arrest related to this case.
