(Etowah County, Al) An Altoona man has been arrested on the charges of Sexual Abuse 2nd, according to Sheriff Jonathon Horton. 

 

Larry Wayne Alexander, 61, of Altoona was arrested Thursday, October 20 and charged with Sexual Abuse in the second degree, which is defined by any person being 19 years old or older subjecting another person to sexual contact who is less than 16 years old but more than 12 years old, Inv. VaShaunda Ragland said.

 

Alexander's victim was 13 years old at the time of the abuse. Alexander is being held on a $5,000 bond with the conditions of no unsupervised contact with anyone under 18 years old and no contact with the victim or their family.
