Chemical Endangerment Arrest
(Etowah County, Alabama) A Gadsden woman was arrested for chemical endangerment of a child, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
"Whitley Jasmine Concepcion/Gibson, 27, of Gadsden, was arrested on August 22nd, and is charged with chemical endangerment of exposing a child to an environment in which controlled substances are ingested, produced or distributed, which is a felony,” investigator Brandi Fuller said.
Concepcion/Gibson has admitted to illegally using cocaine while pregnant and tested positive for the drug.
She was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center with a $10,000 cash bond for the chemical endangerment warrant. As a condition of the bond, she must successfully complete a drug treatment program and will be supervised by Etowah County Community Corrections.
Etowah County DHR is also involved with the case.
