The Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) System is a program of realistic, self-defense tactics and techniques. It is a comprehensive course for women that begin with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training. RAD is not a martial arts program.

The classroom portion of the course will be held at the Sheriff's Office. Registration is required! Please use https://www.etowahcountysheriff.com/womens-self-defense-class to sign-up! The course will be held on Wednesday, October 19 and Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 6:00pm.  Make sure you wear comfortable clothing these two days.

This course has its foundations in education and awareness. The course includes lecture, discussion and self-defense techniques suitable for women of all ages and abilities.
